Michael –
I purchased a Recycler 4000 (re branded as Truyard CM95, back in 2010. This product is not the cheapest on the market. But i have been able to use this chipper mulcher for greater than 16 years of fairly constant usage. Over this time i have only done regular servicing (Briggs + Stratton 14hp Vanguard electric start engine), oil/filters,plugs, battery etc all still easily available. And sharpening chipper blades (×2), of which i have 2 pairs. I cannot recommend and rate this product highly enough. I cannot see anything that will stop it keeping on going, possibly beyond my life time. For sure to operate it you do need PPE and use OHS care practices as it is an industrial grade machine. Regarding ROI the longer i keep using it the less per hour it costs me. So I did have concerns about the up front cost compared to other products, but i seriously doubt the others would still be running or have parts support afyer16 years.
