Which Size Wood Chipper Do I Need?

The maximum branch diameter is an important starting point when comparing wood chippers, but bigger isn’t automatically better. Consider the size of material you normally process, how much material you need to get through and how frequently you’ll use the machine.

70–80mm Wood Chippers

For home gardens, acreage and general property maintenance, a 70–80mm wood chipper provides useful chipping capacity while keeping the machine relatively compact and manoeuvrable.

The Truyard C70 has a 70mm chipping capacity and Honda GX200 engine, while the C80 steps up to an 80mm capacity with a Honda GX270.
