The Powertech Honda Dethatcher & Scarifier 460 is a versatile, heavy-duty machine for removing built-up thatch and renovating established lawns. Its wide working path and powerful Honda engine make it suitable for property owners, landscapers and professional lawn-care operators.

The machine is supplied with a flail blade reel for dethatching. Optional scarifier for aggressive dethatching, and spring-tine reel for power raking, assemblies allow the machine to be configured for different lawn conditions and levels of renovation.

Honda GX200 Petrol Engine

Power is provided by the commercial-grade Honda GX200 four-stroke engine. Known for dependable starting and durable construction, the GX200 delivers consistent performance during demanding lawn-renovation work.

A cyclone dual-element air-cleaner system provides additional engine protection in dusty operating conditions.

Interchangeable Reel System

Complete interchangeable reel assemblies allow the Powertech 460 to perform different lawn-renovation functions using one machine.

• Flail blade reel: Supplied as standard for aggressive dethatching
• Scarifier reel: Optional rigid-blade assembly for cutting through dense thatch and lightly opening the lawn surface.
• Spring-tine reel: Optional assembly for power raking & lifting loose thatch, dead grass and surface debris from the turf canopy.

The complete reel assemblies can be changed according to the condition of the lawn and the type of work required.

460 mm Working Width

The 460 mm working width provides efficient coverage across larger lawn areas. It offers a practical balance between productivity and manoeuvrability for residential properties, landscaping work and commercial lawn maintenance.

Adjustable Working Depth

An eight-position depth-control system allows the working depth to be adjusted from 0–30 mm. This lets the operator control how aggressively the fitted reel engages with the lawn.

Starting at a conservative setting is recommended, with the working depth increased gradually according to the lawn condition, grass variety and required result.

Operator Control and Protection

The belt-driven reel system includes an operator-presence control that disengages reel operation when released. Solid wheels and an ergonomic handle arrangement help provide straightforward movement and control around the work area.
